Introduction
The sound of the triangle, accordion, and zabumba invades the streets of northeastern cities in June. The rhythm of the quadrilhas, traditional arrasta-pés, and the colorful flags and fireworks complete the June scene in this region of Brazil. From Bahia to Maranhão, there are festivities for all tastes: from folkloric manifestations to mega-events with famous artists. In each city, a different charm. The Pernambuco city of Caruaru and the Paraíba city of Campina Grande engage in an annual fierce competition for the title of the world's largest São João. To attract tourists, the former bets on typical foods and giant bonfires, while the latter celebrates the romance of Valentine's Day with a collective wedding and entertains revelers on a lively forró train. Choose which city has your heart with Royalty Viagens.
